Schedule of MS MEEN Deadlines

If you follow this schedule, progressing through your classes and research in a timely manner, you should graduate on time in 24 months.

Action/Form	Submission Deadline
Application for Assistantship	1st week of first quarter enrolled
MS MEEN Graduate Advisor Selection Form	4th week of first quarter enrolled
Advisory Committee	7th week of first quarter enrolled
Plan of Study/Form	7th week of first quarter enrolled
MS Thesis Proposal	7th week of second quarter enrolled
Complete thesis research and write thesis	Within 22 months after beginning the program
Turn in proofread (by English Dept. or other source) thesis to your advisor	At least four weeks prior to final defense and with advisor's consent
Schedule final defense date and reserve room	Three to four weeks prior to final defense
Turn in thesis to your committee	Two weeks prior to final defense
Defend Thesis	Four to six weeks prior to graduation
Have final thesis version reviewed by English Department	After thesis is revised and approved by advisor and prior to submission to Graduate School
Turn in revised thesis to Graduate School	According to their posted schedule (Submissions to the Graduate School begin no less than three weeks before graduation)
