Winter Quarter Classes
We have had to change the times of some of our classes. There are a number of students who need to take MEEN 363 as well as senior design and senior lab. If everyone was on the standard schedule this would not have been a problem, but not everyone is on a standard schedule, and we have had to make adjustments.
MEEN 494
Both sections will now meet 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon on Tuesdays.
MEEN 486
Class will now meet at 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon on Thursdays.
MEEN 492
The meeting time for this class will be changed. This is being done to allow the different program’s senior design classes to meet at the same time so that there could be some common lectures. We will announce this time as soon as it has been confirmed.
Outstanding Alumnus Award
Our industrial advisory council will present this award to Mr. Milton Williams of the class of 1944. Please come to our awards ceremony (with free food!) in BH 304 on Friday, October 25, 2002. Most ME classes are giving some form of extra credit for attending this important event (as well as the interaction time described below).
Industrial Advisory Council
Our council will be here this Friday and Saturday. One of their tasks is to provide us candid feedback from the students. We would like you to meet with them following the awards ceremony on Friday in BH 304/305. This will allow the students to give valuable feedback to the faculty in a way that preserves anonymity.
Hog Cooking
Following the interaction time with the Industrial Advisory Council, students, faculty, council, and friends will adjourn to the ground floor of Bogard Hall for our annual pre-homecoming feast. For the second year in a row the menu will feature the all night cooked hog, organized by Dr. Carey Cox.
