Winter Quarter Technical Electives
The Mechanical Engineering faculty made some mistakes during the advising period. A number of our students have signed up for CVEN 436 as a technical elective during winter quarter. It was called to our attention that this is a required course in the Construction Engineering Technology course.
This course is not appropriate for engineering majors. At its meeting on November 7, 2003, the Mechanical Engineering faculty unanimously voted that required technology courses such as this one are not acceptable technical electives.
Students therefore need to add a different course as a technical elective. Options for Winter Quarter are shown below:
